The RotaryWA Foundation Committee
RotaryWA is offering several opportunities for members to join the Rotary Foundation Committee, and grow your knowledge and experience in Rotary and the Foundation.
The Foundation committee meet every two months in person and by Zoom at the John McGrath centre in Hensman Street, South Perth.
We are looking for the following positions to be filled:
Foundation Chair:
The chair role will be in effect until 30 June 2026, providing continuity of leadership for Foundation fundraising and grant activities in the district. As chairs, you work with regional staff to help subcommittees succeed. Under the governor’s leadership, you also work with subcommittee chairs to plan, coordinate, and evaluate Foundation activities.
Foundation Deputy Chair
The role of the Deputy Chairperson is to shadow the Chairperson in providing leadership and responsibility for the organisation and the Committee and to step into the Chairperson's roles where needed.
VTT
VTT leaders foster the transfer of knowledge and skills in an effort to help communities in need for the long term in conjunction with a VTT team, providing an opportunity to interact socially and advance cross-cultural understanding.
Supported with both District and Global Grants VTTs can sponsor a wide range of vocational training activities, from a traditional to a formal training programme.
